Business chiefs to plead for predictability from Beijing

Business leaders attending a meeting with China’s foreign minister on Wednesday will stress the need for predictability from Beijing to prevent national security concerns from again overshadowing Australia’s economic relationship with China.

The working lunch between Wang Yi and 11 business leaders and think-tank heads in Canberra will follow the diplomat’s meeting with Foreign Minister Penny Wong in Parliament House for the seventh Australia-China Foreign and Strategic Dialogue.
