    Billionaire Andrew Forrest has tapped the former boss of gas pipeline giant APA Group to lead Squadron Energy in the latest executive shake-up within his business empire.

    Rob Wheals, who resigned from APA in 2022, will take the reins at Squadron from Jason Willoughby as the private company seeks to deliver on an ambitious plan to deliver one-third of the renewable energy capacity needed to reach Australia’s 2030 emissions target.
