Bauxite Resources will enter a heads of agreement with long-term Chinese partner Yankuang Corp to complete a bankable feasibility study for the design and construction of a modern refinery in the south-west of Western Australia, to refine Darling Range bauxite into alumina. The refinery design capacity will be 1.1mtpa.
