Lynas confirms rare earths mega-merger discussions with MP Materials

Lynas Rare Earths has confirmed that it has held discussions about merging with its New York-listed rival MP Materials.

Amanda Lacaze-led Lynas said it had been in talks about a bid to unite the world’s two biggest non-China producers of rare earths after The Australian Financial Review first reported the discussions on Friday.
