Ashurst nabs Clifford Chance litigation co-chair

Angela Pearsall, Clifford Chance’s global co-chair of its international commercial litigation group, has moved to Ashurst and says activists emboldened by loosened class actions rules pose risks for major corporate clients.

Ms Pearsall, who counts professional services giants Deloitte, EY and Herbert Smith Freehills among her clients, said regulators “have made their priorities very clear, and they are not going to shy away from difficult cases”, as accounting and consulting firms increasingly earn the ire of local and international regulators.
