Accent Group to take Platypus chain to Asia

When shoe retailer Accent Group bought 11 Platypus Shoe stores in 2007 chief executive Daniel Agostinelli loved its shoes but wasn't a fan of the brand name.
"I actually felt quite embarrassed saying 'good morning Platypus'," Agnostinelli, who had joined from Sanity Music stores, told AFR Weekend.
