    The country’s largest alcohol retailer removed a craft beer brand from its shelves after negotiations to buy out the brewer – which shares the Endeavour name with the $9.3 billion ASX-listed group – soured.

    Endeavour Beverages founder Ben Kooyman, whose company began selling to Dan Murphy’s and other Endeavour retailers BWS and ALH Hotels in 2011, says Endeavour Group unfairly used its market power to curb the brewer’s sales and reduce its value. He said the independent brewer was hurt by consumers confused by the branding.
