Artworks by Sydney enfants terribles Brett Whiteley and Adam Cullen will jointly test the market’s tolerance for low-level scandal when Menzies Art Brands offers the artists’ work in its major auction in Melbourne on March 27.

Heroin Clock 2, 1981, is an assemblage by Whiteley that seeks to communicate the time-warping effect of heroin consumption. It was in the collection of the late Clive Evatt, QC, for whom Whiteley specifically made it.
