Tabcorp, Lendlease, Cochlear could surprise on dividends

Tabcorp, Lendlease and Cochlear are among the companies most likely to surprise on dividends this results season, according to Morgan Stanley, despite expectations the recovery in payouts could lag the rebound in earnings.

The broker thinks that companies which raised capital through the pandemic, had consensus expectations for a decline in dividends, but at the same time enjoyed robust earnings expectations, are the ones most likely to surprise when it comes to dividends declared this month.
