    Big battery developers are seeking to ease concerns their projects could face a similar fire risk to Neoen’s Victorian Big Battery project near Geelong, where an investigation is under way with the aim of preventing a repeat occurrence.

    Dramatic pictures of the fire that broke out last Friday at the country’s biggest battery project, which involves Tesla Megapack units, attracted worldwide attention. The blaze took three days to extinguish, with the Country Fire Authority eventually declaring it under control mid-afternoon on Monday, while leaving crews to monitor the site.
