    Strong support among readers for caps on political donations

    The vast majority of readers of The Australian Financial Review support a limit on federal political donations and spending after the latest disclosures revealed millions of dollars in support from unions and business people such as Anthony Pratt, Gina Rinehart and Clive Palmer.

    But readers were evenly divided on Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ so-called “values-based capitalism” with close to 30 per cent saying they were worried about the lack of detail on what it actually meant.
