    Within an hour of learning of Tesla’s pending deal with a lithium company, the head of the electric vehicle manufacturer’s Australian operations bought more than 86,000 shares and tipped off a friend.

    Now, Kurt Schlosser is disqualified from managing a company for five years but will not serve any jail time after pleading guilty to two insider trading offences.
