Rich Lister Sam Arnaout puts $130m Melbourne hotels on the block

Rich Lister Sam Arnaout is hoping to exit the Melbourne hotel market with a $130 million-plus payday after putting a portfolio of three Ibis hotels up for sale.
Mr Arnaout, founder and owner of development and hospitality giant Iris Capital, is selling the 250-room Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments near Queen Victoria Market, the 103-room Ibis Budget Fawkner in Melbourne’s northern suburbs and the 71-room Ibis Budget Dandenong in the city’s south-east.
