Employment Hero secures $263m in year’s biggest capital raising

US investors have led a $263 million funding round in human resources technology firm Employment Hero, sealing the biggest capital raising of the year for a local privately held software business.

The company is almost 10 years old, and now has a valuation just shy of $2 billion, a hefty upgrade on the $1.25 billion valuation it secured in its previous funding round early last year.
