    After his tech firm Invoice2Go was sold for $850 million (US$625 million), tech entrepreneur Chris Strode did what most of Australia’s wealthy do – he started buying up property.

    He owned about a quarter of the company – which built an app to let small businesses generate and send invoices – when it was acquired by US financial giant Bill.com in 2021. But by then he had transformed himself from a tech coder into a part-time property developer.
