Almost two-thirds of the new graduates hired by Commonwealth Bank of Australia will join the bank’s technology division, securing the trainees needed to build up its pipeline of future technology talent.

CBA has hired 219 technology graduates, its largest cohort to date, which is up 81 per cent on last year and a 284 per cent increase on 2020, when the bank decided to significantly expand the program. It hired 340 graduates across the bank including tech, retail and business banking, marketing and finance.
