    Davos | The Chinese economy grew an “estimated” 5.2 per cent last year, Premier Li Qiang revealed, as he shrugged off the country’s economic woes and pitched China as being open for foreign business and a driver of the global economy.

    The Chinese number two leader also appeared to start readying Beijing’s rhetorical defences against Donald Trump’s possible return as US president. He warned against “capricious” policies that could undermine trust between countries, and urged respect for multilateral trade rules.
