Albanese calls crisis meeting on male violence against women

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will convene a meeting of the national cabinet on Wednesday to discuss plans to tackle what he called a “national crisis” of male violence against women.

On Sunday, Mr Albanese joined thousands of Canberrans and senior cabinet ministers, including Minister for Women Katy Gallagher and Social Services Minister Amanda Rishworth, at a “no more” rally outside Parliament House where he was repeatedly heckled.
