    Former Liberal MP Stuart Robert could become the first high-profile referral to the National Anti-Corruption Commission following allegations of a plan under which he would receive kickbacks for helping a friend’s consultancy win government contracts.

    As Mr Robert strenuously rejected the allegations, Government Services Minister Bill Shorten indicated his department was likely to refer the former minister to the NACC, while Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said he would not stand in the way.
