    A fight over the use of two key words in the fast-growing land lease sector has deepened, with developer Stockland arguing that the registered trademark of rival Lifestyle Communities’ name should be cancelled.

    Stockland filed its cross-claim in the Federal Court a month after Lifestyle Communities sought an order to prevent Stockland from using the words ‘lifestyle’ and ‘communities’ in marketing material, accusing it of deceptive and misleading conduct.
