    With New Zealand’s finance minister Grant Robertson reporting the Kiwi economy has bounced back better than anyone expected in the last quarter, it would seem the country’s quick reaction to COVID-19 and tough lockdown measures may have paid off.

    This piece of good news lies in stark contrast to the gloomier mood of the nation during the initial lockdown when a lot of New Zealanders were in real financial strife and businesses were told to shut down and send their employees home.
