Right to disconnect? We’re already doing it, say bosses

Labor’s right to disconnect legislates practices that bosses are already working out with their employees and just adds complexity and uncertainty to the process, human resources executives say.
Provisions in the Albanese government’s workplace laws that seek to steer the conditions under which communications can occur out of hours add to employers’ concerns about the pace and extent of workplace reforms, Australian HR Institute boss Sarah McCann-Bartlett said.
