Washington | US President Joe Biden, under pressure over high inflation, promised to sign a national law to enshrine abortion rights if Democrats retain control of Congress at critical upcoming midterm elections.
The president is trying to rally his party and its supporters around abortion rights despite public opinion polls showing voters are more concerned about the economy and the rising cost of living.
