    The February monthly consumer price index indicator last week continued the run of marginally better than expected inflation reads.

    The result will be welcomed by the Reserve Bank of Australia as being consistent with, and even a tad better than, the projected path of decline to the target band of between 2 per cent and 3 per cent inflation.
