Apache, Santos hit gas in Carnarvon Basin

Apache and its partners in the Zola gas discovery off the West Australian coast look to have come up trumps, finding more gas at an appraisal well drilled nearby, according to junior partner Tap Oil .
Preliminary results from the Bianchi-1 well indicate a potential net gas column of about 128 metres, Tap said in a statement on Friday.
