    Cardno, which was started at the end of World War II by two Brisbane engineers and grew to almost 8200 staff globally, will largely be offloaded to foreign buyers in divisional sales worth $1 billion.

    ASX-listed Cardno’s Asia-Pacific and North American engineering and consulting divisions are slated for sale in a deal worth $667 million, pending investor approval.
