    Ansell shares firm, warns margins to slide for another year

    The price of single-use medical gloves will continue to slide for another 12 months and margins will remain under pressure, according to Ansell chief executive Neil Salmon, while the complexity and “length” of supply chains makes it impossible for the group to avoid a margin crunch.

    Ansell is offloading high-priced inventory brought in from outside suppliers just as demand for single-use medical gloves is dropping across the industry.
