    Uranium explorer Bannerman Resources remains committed to the talks with Hanlong Mining on the Chinese company’s proposed $143 million cash offer, despite the investigation into allegations of insider trading at Hanlong by Australia’s corporate regulator.

    A statement released by Hanlong on Tuesday after news broke of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission inquiry made no mention of the Bannerman discussions, despite noting Hanlong’s plans to pursue negotiations with its other Australian takeover target, Sundance Resources.
