NetComm may appeal to investors looking for a way to gain exposure to the rising global demand for mobile internet technologies as it manufactures a range of 3G mobile devices, such as routers and gateways. The company is expected to post a stronger second half after reporting a close to 200 per cent surge in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to $2.6 million for the six months to end 2010. Management guidance is for an EBITDA of $5.5 million to $8.5 million for the current half year due, driven by strong international sales of its 3G devices and the recent launch of the next generation of mobile internet (or 4G) equipment.
