Saleroom’s headline two weeks ago asked, “Is Don Bradman’s number plate really worth $220k?”
The answer is yes. To be precise, it was worth $232,737.50 (including 8.25 per cent buyer’s premium) to the successful bidder in Lawsons’ online sale of historic NSW vehicle number plates on April 9.
