Wall St’s average 2023 bonus slips to $270,300

The average annual Wall Street bonus slipped 2 per cent to $US176,500 ($270,300) last year from $US180,000 in 2022, according to New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli’s estimate.

The 2023 bonus pool of $US33.8 billion closely matched the previous year. However, it was well below the $US42.7 billion in 2021 and $US37.1 billion in 2020.
