Albanese kills early election talk, plans two more budgets

Anthony Albanese has reiterated his support for four-year terms in federal politics as he dampened speculation of calling an early election at the end of this year.
Mr Albanese announced the 2025 budget would be brought forward to March, setting the scene for the government serving the full three-year term, rather than holding a snap poll before Christmas.
