Why I support the Voice: Bill Ferris’ letter to his grandchildren

Venture capitalist Bill Ferris is making a novel, late intervention in the Voice debate, writing a letter to his grandchildren supporting the Yes vote to “get rid of this shamefully unfair scourge” of a yawning living standards gap between Indigenous Australians and others.

“I do believe the Voice will help this to happen, maybe not in my lifetime but certainly in yours,” Mr Ferris writes.
