    Listed developer Villa World said net profit for the year to June rose 31.5 per cent to $33.7 million as settlements of new house and land packages jumped by almost one-third.

    Continued strength in the affordable house-and-land segments of its core Queensland and Victorian markets would push that figure "at least" 5 per cent higher this year, the Broadbeach, Queensland-based company said.
