    The director of Melbourne University's start-up accelerator program (MAP) is pushing to create a medical technology accelerator, in an initiative designed to boost Melbourne's image as a medtech hub.

    With Melbourne already home to more than 40 per cent of ASX-listed life science companies, Rohan Workman said he wanted to start a sister program to MAP aimed specifically at medtech companies.
