Ord Minnett rolls out first graduates to tackle adviser shortage
Ord Minnett has hired four graduates for its inaugural graduate program to address the lack of talent coming through one of the oldest industries in finance.
The storied stockbroker, which has about 600 employees across 14 offices in Australia and Hong Kong, created the program to tap into demand for private wealth advice. It tailored the scheme around Ord’s advisory and wealth businesses. The graduates – two each in Melbourne and Sydney – will rotate through the areas of operations, research, corporate finance and private wealth over the next six months.
