Former Labor leader to chair Victoria’s SEC
The chairman of the resurrected State Electricity Commission of Victoria has vowed its newly appointed board will “move as quickly as possible” to deploy its billion-dollar cash pile to deliver the state’s ambitious 95 per cent renewable energy target by 2035.
Former ACT Labor deputy chief minister Simon Corbell will head a board that includes two former members of the disbanded advisory committee.
